IDEA staff has spent the past several months gathering feedback from our partners and constituents on what they envision to be an ideal learning opportunity. The result is a series of regional workshops with broad-based learning and skill-building opportunities related to evaluation and assessment—not just for IDEA partners, but for all higher education leaders.
Our first regional workshop has been scheduled and we invite you to join us in Kansas City on September 9th, 2016 for a full day of sessions that will take a deeper look at IDEA solutions that provide a comprehensive picture of learning and how they can be applied to individual institutions. This professional development workshop is for higher education leaders who have a desire to enhance their skills related to faculty evaluation, faculty development, and outcomes assessment.
The sessions have been designed to provide you with the information you need to:
Design a comprehensive and balanced faculty evaluation system built on best practices.
Use data from the evaluation process to inform faculty development planning and create a high-impact faculty development plan.
Identify and overcome challenges related to outcomes assessment and accreditation/licensure requirements.
Registration for the Kansas City Fall IDEA Workshop is now closed. Check back as there will be additional regional workshops scheduled over the next year.
