IDEA Paper Board
June 8, 2015
By Steve Benton The IDEA Paper series, begun in 1979, is one of IDEA’s most recognizable resources. Topics cover the general areas of teaching and learning, faculty evaluation, curriculum design, and assessment. In the fall of 2014, we created the IDEA Paper Board comprised of the following prominent leaders in the field of faculty evaluation and development:
  • Ronald Berk, Professor Emeritus, The Johns Hopkins University
  • Allison Boye, Assistant Director, Academic and Pedagogical Development, Texas Tech University
  • Kay Gillespie, Professor Emerita, Colorado State University
  • James Groccia, Professor of Educational Foundations, Leadership & Technology, Auburn University
  • Teddi Joyce, Assistant Professor, University of South Dakota
  • Patty Payette, Senior Associate Director of the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning, University of Louisville
  • Susan Perry, Director of Outcome Assessment, Case Western Reserve University
With the help of the board IDEA Papers will henceforth undergo peer review. Those wishing to write a paper should first submit a brief proposal to Steve Benton, Senior Research Officer ( Papers are published under the Creative Commons license (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives), which permits others to download the paper and share it as long as they credit IDEA.
